Parkside Evens Record With Win Over Decatur

The Parkside boys lacrosse team pulled out a 10-8 win Wednesday afternoon over Stephen Decatur to even out their record. The win improves the Rams to 6-6, while the loss drops the Seahawks to 4-8.

The Seahawks would jump out to a small lead early, getting scores from Robbie Duke and Charlie Coatts. The Rams would have an answer though, as Ryan Deberadinis would have a hat trick in the first half as he had the hot hand all day. The teams would be tied at the half, but Parkside would grab a small lead in the 2nd half and be able to hold on for the win.

Both teams now await the draw for this years Maryland State Tournament to find out where and who they will be playing next.
