National Championship Bound! Gulls top Gettysburg

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team will get a shot at their 11th national championship, after defeating Gettysburg 14-6 on Sunday afternoon in the national semifinal held at Sea Gull Stadium.

Carson Kalama finished with a game-high 5 goals on the day, while Nathan Blondino netted four goals. Gettysburg would get as close as 3-2 early in the second half, but never come within a goal again as Salisbury would score 7 of the next 8 goals to open up a 10-3 lead. Salisbury would add four more scores in the fourth, and roll to the victory.

Salisbury will take on Tufts College for the national title on Sunday, May 29th at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
