Milford man arrested after standoff with police

28 Year old Jason Dailey of Milford has been arrested after a domestic incident that lead to a standoff with police on April 20th.  Police say Dailey was in a verbal argument with a 30 year old woman.  According to the investigation the dispute escalated, and Dailey stuck the female in the face and strangled her. 

The two then left the residence on the 700 block of S. DuPont Hwy where the argument began, and a short time later returned, where police say it again turned violent.  During the second altercation Milford PD says Dailey again struck the female in the face and slammed her head against the wall.  The female was then able to flee the residence.

The next day, officials went to the residence to take Dailey into custody, when they say he locked himself in the residence and refused to come out.  After a brief standoff, police say Dailey surrendered. According to Milford Police, Dailey is charged with strangulation, Harassment and Offensive Touching, as well as resisting arrest.
