May 27 – Pemberton Hall Plantation Event

Upstairs, Downstairs and on the Lawn at Pemberton Hall! The event is in celebration of the restoration of the upstairs bed chamber.

This is an exciting achievement for Pemberton and will allow visitors a chance to tour the upstairs of the house. On June 5th, their will be tours, refreshments, the bed chamber unveiling & 18th c children’s games on the lawn. Free and open to the public.

The room and restoration are historically significant. It is a Williamsburg-quality restoration. The room features a ceiling attached built-in bed tester frame and considered the only surviving example of such a frame still existing on its original site in the United States. What a jewel Pemberton is for our county!
