Marshall street community garden holds ribbon cutting

Bringing the community together and teaching children valuable lessons. That’s what the new Marshall Street Community Garden is all about.
Saturday they held a ribbon cutting ceremony and 47 ABC was there for the action.
We’re told the plants and supplies were donated by the community of joy Church of the Brethren.
47 ABC spoke with the Apostle Paul Ministries about what they think of the garden.
“I think a garden exemplifies bringing people together, people who care about the city of Salisbury, people who care about and love gardening,” said pastor Barrey Whittington.
This is the third garden that Pastor Martin Hutchinson of Community of Joy Church of the Brethren has helped start.
Last year he started one in the Camden area of Salisbury.
Then earlier he helped start one behind the Chipman Center.
