Mardela Silences Wi-Hi On Senior Day

The Mardela baseball team picked up another conference win on Thursday as they topped Wi-Hi 8-3. The win improves the Warriors to 11-6 on the year, while the Indians drop to 2-14.

The Warriors would jump out to a quick lead before the Indians would fight their way back. the Tribes patience at the plate lead to them drawing a bases loaded walk by Quintin Waleman. That would Wi-Hi within 3-2, but it would be all Warriors after that. Cole Lambrose would rope a 2 RBI double to right to get it started. Then Hunter Niblett would blast one deep enough to left to be good for a 2 RBI sac fly. Mardela would then put the game away with a 2 RBI triple from Dylan Smith.

Mardela returns to work on Monday when they travel to Cambridge SD, while Wi-Hi host Cambridge SD tomorrow.
