Law enforcement on lookout for holiday weekend DUI’s

This Memorial Day Weekend is sure to bring out many travelers, and many parties.  Which means many more people potentially driving under the influence. Authorities say this is one of the weekends of the year where they are looking for intoxicated drivers.

Lt. Robinson of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office tells 47ABC the nice weather we’ve been experiencing combined with the holiday is the equation that leads to more people behind the wheel who’ve had too much to drink.  “People are going to be behind the wheel after they’ve had too much to drink” Robinson tells 47ABC, “But we’ve got extra deputies and our law enforcement partners are going to be out there looking for those that are going to be behind the wheel after they’ve had too much to drink.”
