Hillers Shock Polytech In Semifinals

The Polytech girls lacrosse team was set to square off against Cape Henlopen in a rematch of the state championship game. The Panthers had a lead late in the second half against Tower Hill, and were in position to go get their revenge.
Then it all changed.
The Hillers ended the game on a 3-0 run to earn a come from behind 11-10 win, and shock the Panthers as they knocked them out of the state tournament.
Polytech came out strong, and would get goals from Madilyn McKay and jamie Trabaudo as they would take a 7-5 lead into the locker room. The Panthers weren’t done just yet, as they managed to tack on another score before Abby Manning scored three straight times to give her team a 9-8 lead. The teams would exchange scores late before the Hillers were finally able to close it out for the win.
Tower Hill advances to the state title game where they will now face Cape Henlopen.
