Easton man accused of attempting to break into home with shears

Police in Easton say they arrested a man attempting to break into a home with a pair of scissors.
Easton Police say on May 5 around 4:40 PM, Officers responded to South Aurora Street, for reports of a burglary in progress. Once on scene, Officers say they found 33-year-old William White, of Easton, near the door of the home. An investigation apparently showed that White was trying to open the door to the house, with a pair of shears.
Police say they then arrested White, and charged him with fourth degree burglary, fourth degree burglary/tools, and malicious destruction of property.
After an appearance with the Court Commissioner, he was ordered to be held at the Talbot County Detention Center without bond.
