Dover PD investigating early morning shooting

According to police, an 18-year-old was shot in the hip after an early morning shooting in Dover.

We’re told around 3 a.m. Sunday, a large group of people were gathered on Fulton Street between New and Queen streets. A fight apparently broke out between two men, when one of them pulled out a gun and fired at the other.

Dover PD says the victim was struck in the hip by one of the shots. They were reportedly treated and released at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital.
