Dover man charged with heroin and gun possession

A Dover man has been charged, after Police say he had heroin in his possession, and plans to sell it.
Dover Police say on Friday night, just after 8:00 PM, Officers with their Street Crimes Unit, along with Probation and Parole met with 24-year-old Taylor Heesh, on Baytree Road, during a drug investigation. Police say Heesh had .6 grams of heroin on him, and had intent to deliver and sell it.
Officers say they later searched Heesh’s Acorn Lane home, where they found 1.365 grams of heroin, a loaded .22 caliber handgun, and various drug paraphernalia. He was then arrested, and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin, two counts of possession of firearm by person prohibited, two counts of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin – tier 1 quantity, and possession of ammunition by person prohibited.
Heesh was then ordered to be held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center, on a $15,000 secured bond.
