Dover man behind bars on gun charges after traffic stop

A Dover man was arrested on gun charges, after a traffic stop.
Dover Police say an Officer with their Street Crimes Unit stopped a silver Toyota Camry on Cherry Street around 12:00 PM, on Thursday. During the stop, Police say they found a 9mm handgun and ammunition inside the vehicle.
The driver, 29-year-old Kevin Wayman Jr., was then taken into custody, and charged with carry concealed deadly weapon, two counts of possession of firearm/ammunition by person prohibited, and violation of probation.
He is now being held at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $27,000 secured bond, along with a $5,000 cash bond.
