Delmarva Power: Customers can expect to see bill decrease

Delmarva Power says starting tomorrow (6/1) customers should expect to see a decrease in their monthly electric bill.

We’re told due to a new Standard Offer Service Rate (SOS), residential customers will see their overall bill decrease about $6.80 or about 4.6%. The company says those numbers are based on a typical customer who uses about 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per month.

Delmarva Power says the decrease is a result of current business practices.

They says this year’s decrease is over $4.00 better than last year’s of $2.48.
