A Delmar man is facing charges, after Investigators say he stole items from several vehicles.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on April 30 around 9:50 AM, A Deputy arrested Joseph Greenhawk, in connection with the theft from motor vehicles on North West Road. Investigators say Greenhawk was responsible for entering vehicles, and stealing tools.
The Investigating Deputy apparently found surveillance footage from a homeowner’s home security surveillance system, that reportedly showed 45-year-old Greenhawk, in the act.
The Deputy was familiar with Greenhawk, according to the Sheriff’s Office, after checking him out when it was reported that Greenhawk was selling power tools door to door previously, in another neighborhood. Investigators say in this incident, Greenhawk went into four unlocked vehicles.
After his arrest, Greenhawk was charged with theft $1,000 to $10,000, and rogue and vagabond. After an initial appearance, Greenhawk was ordered to be held at the Wicomico County Detention Center, on a $15,000 bond.
