Crime Solvers receives support from local business

The local anonymous tip-line “Crime Solvers” and the Salisbury Area Property Owners Association (SAPOA) have recently renewed their commitment to help assist local law enforcement agencies combat crime.
Lieutenant Tim Robinson of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office spoke to 47ABC about the relationship between law enforcement and Crime Solvers, and he says the private organization is a great asset to investigations due to the anonymity of the service.
Lt. Robinson spoke of the importance of funding from the local businesses that support Crime Solvers, because its existence is wholly dependent on that funding. “Crime Solvers is very excited to have this partnership with SAPOA and is very grateful for this organization because they have chipped in a substantial financial backing into the crime solvers program.” Robinson tells 47ABC on behalf of Crime Solvers. He stresses that the Sheriff’s Office is separate from the private company, but spoke on their behalf today to 47ABC.
The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says Crime Solvers has been helping on the Lower Eastern Shore since 1987, giving out well over $100,000 to their anonymous callers.
