Champions wear Gold! Gulls hold on to take #11

The Salisbury men’s lacrosse team captured the 11th national title in school history, knocking off defending back-to-back champion Tufts University 14-13.
It was a total team effort as the Gulls got three goals from each from James Burton and Nick Garbarino, and two goals each from Thomas Cirillo, Nathan Blondino, and Carson Kalama. Goalkeeper Colin Reymann finished with 16 saves, including the game clinching one with about 6 seconds remaining.
The win vaults Head Coach Jim Berkman into sole possession of the top spot in NCAA men’s lacrosse history for championship victories with 11.
