BMX Pro Tony Hoffman heading to SBY to speak about addiction

Officials from the city of Salisbury will be working with the Family Addiction Awareness and Prevention Project, to welcome motivational speaker and BMX champion Tony Hoffman to the city.

Hoffman will be joined by Public Health Officer Lori Brewster, Wicomico County States Attorney Matt Maciarello, and representatives of local law enforcement at a session called “Paths to Recovery,” to address his personal experience with drug addiction and the toll it has taken.

The “Paths to Recovery” event is set to take place on June first in the Wicomico Room at Salisbury University.

The event is free and open to members of the public.
