Big 6th inning launches CR softball over Delmar

The Caesar Rodney softball team plated four runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to take control and defeat Delmar 9-5 on Thursday afternoon.

Lauren Polinkski, Rosa’Lynn Burton, Alexxys Harris, and Alexis Howerin combined for 10 of CR’s 15 hits on the day. Avery Wheatley finished with four hits for Delmar.

The Riders are back in action on Monday, hosting Middletown, while Delmar will travel to Dover on Tuesday.
