Be a Part of the Solution heroin and opiate addiction forum set for May 28

A Facebook group made up of local residents, is hosting a forum about addiction in the community.

On Saturday May 28, at the Ocean City Convention Center, the Kids Are Dying Delmarva Facebook page is sponsoring and event called Be a Part of the Solution. The event is aimed at heroin and opiate addiction in the communities.

Officials say they will have acclaimed speaker Michael DeLeon, ho has been in the nationwide fight against this addiction for 15 years.

The event is free, and open to the public. Those interested in fighting the epidemic are invited to attend.
