Arson incident reported at Salisbury apartment complex
Investigators in Wicomico County say they are looking into an arson, where discarded furniture was burned.
The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal says on Tuesday around 4:35 PM a resident of the College Park Apartments on Arthur Court discovered flames in the dumpster area. According to the report, four firefighters from Salisbury Fire Department Station 16 responded, and had the flames under control in five minutes.
No injuries were reported. Damages are estimated at $600. Investigators say the fire started in the discarded trash and furniture, in the dumpster area. The cause has been ruled as arson.
