5 Arrested in string of Sussex Co. burglaries

Delaware State Police have arrested five people in connection with two separate strings of burglaries in Sussex County.
Detectives say they started to see similarities in a series of burglaries between December 2015 and March 2016 in areas stretching from Millsboro to Ocean View. Millsboro residents Mattew Miller, 36, and 44 year old Kimberly Parsons were identified as the primary suspects. The robberies showed the burglars would break into sheds and remove power tools, generators, etc. and then flipping them at area pawn shops. The investigation revealed the robberies would occur on Parson’s newspaper delivery route, as Miller would ride along with her.
Both Parker and Miller face a slew of charges including Burglary, criminal mischief, theft, selling stolen property, and falsifying business records. Both are now held on secured bond according to police, and additional charges could be coming.
A separate investigation revealed three more Millsboro residents were taken into custody. 46 year old Sheila Quebral, 28 year old Damien Andell, and 49 year old Kevin Andell were arrested for a string of car burglaries. Delaware State Police say between March 2016 and April 2016, there were similarities in thefts from cars in the areas of Millsboro and Gumboro.
The investigations showed that the suspects would break into cars, take items such as GPS, wallets, and in a couple of cases, firearms. The suspects would then pawn them off at local shops according to police. All three suspects were charged with theft of a firearm, conspiracy, and several counts of theft.
Damien Andell also was charged with unlawful use of a credit card. Quebral was charged with falsifying business documents and selling stolen property. All three have been remanded to the Delaware Dept. of Corrections.
