1 killed, 2 injured in Route 50 crash

Troopers from the Salisbury Barrack say one person is dead and two are recovering after a fatal crash on Route 50, early Friday morning.

According to reports, troopers responded to Route 50 east of Powellville Road in Willards, just after midnight, for reports of a single car crash. Upon arrival officials say, three occupants were identified inside the 2006 Buick Lucerne. Reports say two of the passengers were transported to PRMC for injuries sustained in the crash. However the driver of the vehicle was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Officials say, no names are being given out until next of kin has been notified.
