Vikings Shut Out Golden Knights on the Road

Sussex Central hosted Cape Henlopen Wednesday night and the Vikings pulled out all the stops and won big, 15-0. 

The Vikings were strong right from the start and their defense really put the pressure on the Golden Knights. Holding them scoreless. 

After the 1st quarter the Vikings were up 4-0, and by halftime they were leading 9-0. They came out the second half the same as they were in the first and ended up leading by 13 after 3. Sussex Central was only able to hold them to two goals in the fourth. 

Cape now improves to 2-2 on the season while Sussex Central falls to 1-2. The win for cape comes off their loss to Archmere on Saturday 11-7. This loss for the Golden Knights comes after a win against Glasgow 15-2 on Monday. 

The Golden Knights are back in action Monday as they host Wicomico. Cape will travel to face Smyrna on Friday.
