Victim trapped after crash with street sweeper

Salisbury Fire Department’s Station 2 and 16 posted to their Facebook that just after midnight Tuesday they responded to a crash with a car and street sweeper.
According to reports, the crash happened on the Route 13 Bypass. Officials say, when crews arrived they found one person trapped in the car with the passenger walking around the scene. Crews were reportedly able to remove the trapped driver after about 15 minutes.
Reports say, both the driver and passenger were taken to PRMC for further evaluation. The driver of the street sweeper was reportedly uninjured.
