UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal crash on Johnson Road in Salisbury

Investigators have released the name of the victim in a fatal crash in Salisbury.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies responded to Johnson Road in Salisbury, around 10:45 PM for reports of a single vehicle crash. Once on scene, Deputies say they found a 2005 Acura sedan had hit a tree.

The Sheriff’s Office says the driver, 29-year-old Tyran Drummond, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. There was apparently no one else inside the vehicle.

Authorities say the investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Collision Reconstruction Unit is on-going at this time. Anyone with any information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 410-548-4891.
