UPDATE: Troopers investigating robbery of Shore Stop in Dover

State Police are investigating the robbery of a convenience store in Dover.

Delaware State Police say just after 11:00 PM on Wednesday, two men walked into the Rising Sun Shore Stop, on South State Street. While there, Police say one of the suspects pulled out a firearm, walked up to the clerk, and demanded money.

According to the report, the clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, along with several cartons of cigarettes. The clerk was apparently not injured in the incident.

Police describe the first suspect as a male standing between 6′ to 6’03” tall, weighing 180-200 pounds, and last seen wearing a dark coat with his face covered, and armed with an unknown make and model firearm. The second suspect is described by Police, as a male approximately 5’08″to 5’11” tall, weighing 180-200 pounds, with his faced covered.

This incident reportedly remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police. Investigators released surveillance photos, seen below:
