UPDATE: Scene clear after overturned chicken truck in Wicomico Co.

Chicken trucks are a common sight on Delmarva but usually they’re right side up, a less common phenomenon Tuesday as one overturned in Hebron.

It happened between Nanticoke Road and Wolfe Creek Road earlier Tuesday afternoon. The driver of the truck was not injured and officials tell us the truck had picked up the chickens from a third party and was on its way to deliver them when the crash happened.

The scene was cleared by 6:45 PM Tuesday night and Naticoke road was reopened.
