UPDATE: One dead after rollover crash in Cambridge

A Kentucky man has died, after apparently rolling his car over in Cambridge.

Maryland State Police say Tommy Sedwick is dead, following a single vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 50 and Chateau Road, on Saturday morning around 11:40 AM.

The MSP Easton Barrack says Sedwick of Somerset, Kentucky was killed when the Hyundai Elantra he was driving rolled over, after what witnesses call a sudden turn. The witnesses apparently told Police that the Elantra was driving fine, until it looked like he decided to make a last minute turn on Chateau Road, but was going too fast. Police say the car left the road, went airborne, and overturned.

Sedwick was taken to Dorchester General Hospital, where the 63-year-old was pronounced dead. There were no other passengers in the vehicle, and nobody else was injured, according to police.

The incident reportedly remains under investigation by the MSP Easton Barrack.
