UPDATE: Georgetown man seriously injured in pedestrian involved crash

A pedestrian involved crash, reportedly left a Georgetown man in left in critical condition Tuesday night in Milton.     

Delaware State Police say they were on scene investigating the crash, and according to records, 46-year-old, Robert Gedeon of Lincoln was driving south on Gravel Hill Road near Sand Hill Road while, 30-year-old, Aaron Patrycia of Georgetown was walking in the south bound lane.

Police say as a result, the car hit Patrycia, throwing him towards the west side of the roadway.

Patrycia was initially taken to Beebe Health Care, before being flown to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center. Officials say he is currently in critical condition.

According to reports, Gedeon was properly seat belted, and not injured. 

Additionally, alcohol does not seem to be a factor in the incident.
