UPDATE: Delmarva Power working to restore 200+ outages

UPDATE: Delmarva power outage maps showing minimal outages across the area.  According to the website the few outages that do remain should be fixed before midnight.

Delmarva Power officials say due to wind causing trees to come in contact with power lines and transformers, clients across Delmarva have experienced outages.

We’re told crews are currently working to restore power outages in Kent Co., Delaware (170), Sussex Co. (6), Dorchester Co. (42), Kent Co., Md. (2), Queen Anne’s Co. (1), Talbot Co. (1) and Wicomico Co. (6).

A Delmarva Power spokesperson tells 47 ABC, the company expects to have the outages resolved by mid-to-late afternoon.

Choptank Electric Co-Op officials say they are also working to restore seven remaining outages. They say around 9AM Sunday, there were 400 outages.

Of those seven, three are located in Dorchester Co., one is located in Wicomico Co. and one in Kent Co. (Md.)
