Trappe man sentenced for firing gun into Laurel home

A Trappe man has been sentenced, after he fired a gun into a home, in the summer of 2015.
The Delaware Department of Justice says on April 22, 31-year-old Lee Harper, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of reckless endangering, endangering the welfare of a child, and driving under the influence.
The charges stem from an August 2015 incident, when after a night of drinking, Harper fired a shotgun into the door of a home on West 8th Street, in Laurel. Harper’s girlfriend is the former girlfriend of the male resident of the home.
After his conviction, Harper was sentenced to three years in prison, and the successful completion of the Key Program, followed by two years probation.
