State Police say they are looking for three people, in connection with a home invasion in Eden.
Maryland State Police say just after 1:00 AM on Wednesday, Troopers responded to Eden Allen Road, for reports of an armed home invasion/robbery. One of the victims apparently made the call to Police. Investigators say their preliminary investigation revealed that three men got into the residence by a rear window, leading into the kitchen area of the residence.
Once inside, Police say the suspects accosted the residents, who were inside asleep, and demanded money from them. During the course of the incident, the suspects apparently assaulted the three adult’s in the home, and held the juvenile’s at gunpoint. After assaulting the residents, Police say the suspects ran from the home through the back door, on foot. Two cell phones, and a set of car keys were reportedly taken by the suspects. Investigator say two adult victims were taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
Police apparently don’t have much of a description on the suspects, only that they were men, wearing all back clothing, and had either masks or hoodie’s covering their faces. One suspect is described by Investigators as being a male weighing approximately 170-180 pounds, and was estimated to be 5’09” tall. All three suspects were reportedly armed with handguns, one of which being the same color as army fatigues, possibly camouflaged or being a combination of tan and green. State Police say Wicomico County Sheriff Deputy K-9 unit responded to the scene to track the suspects, but didn’t locate them.
Troopers are now asking anyone who may have information about this incident to contact the Maryland State Police Princess Anne Barrack at 443-260-3700. Police say their investigation is still active, and on-going at this time.
