Three businesses in same Dover shopping center robbed overnight

Police in Dover say they are investigating three local businesses, in one shopping center, that were all robbed overnight.

Dover Police say between Thursday night, and Friday morning, three burglaries happened within the Walker Road Shopping Center, on Walker Road, in Dover.

At China King Restaurant, Police say the suspect forced their way into the building, by prying open the front door. Once inside, they stole an undisclosed amount of cash, and $350 worth of frozen shrimp. The restaurant suffered about $800 in damages.

At the Coin Laundry, Police say the suspect pryed open the back door, and stole an undisclosed amount of cash, before leaving the business. The laundromat suffered about $800 in damages.

The suspect then apparently continued on to Romano’s Italian Pizzeria, where they again pryed open the front door. Once inside, Police say the suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from a register, and ran from the business, after the audible alarm went off. Police say about $600 in damage was done to the business.

The investigation into these incidents is on-going at this time.
