Teen reportedly shot while walking in Dover

Police in Dover say they are investigating, after a teenager was shot on Tuesday night.

Dover Police say around 10:25 PM, a 17-year-old boy was walking around Queen and Reed Streets, when someone fired a gun at him. According to the report, the suspect fired multiple times at the victim, but only hit him once.

After the incident, the teen was rushed to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he had surgery for his injury, and is now hospitalized and listed in stable condition. Police say their investigation is on-going at this time.
