Sussex Tech baseball gets huge conference win at Dover

The Sussex Tech baseball team moved to 2-1 in the Henlopen North, getting a win over Dover by a final of 5-3 on Thursday afternoon at Dover Field.
Tech starter Matthew Warrington had a strong showing, going 5+ innings, striking out 12 while allowing just 2 hits and one run. Jordan Marvel, Kyle Lux and Cole Collins each had RBIs in the win for Tech. Dover was led by Dmitri Floyd, who had a solo home-run to left field, and Tyler Rosello who blasted a 2-RBI double in the bottom of the 6th inning. Dover had the winning run at first base when Ravens’ reliever Justin Hill forced a ground ball for the final out of the game.
Sussex Tech will host William Penn on Saturday afternoon, while Dover host charter that afternoon.
