SU Police close investigation on “racist” drawing

The Salisbury University Police have closed their investigation regarding a racist drawing found on a school library whiteboard a few weeks ago. Officials tell 47 ABC that no criminal charges will be filed at this time.

Police said all parties involved were African-American.

The picture showed a stick figure of a man being hung with the n-word and #whitepower written next to it.

A university spokesperson was unable to confirm how the suspects were found.

Officials with the school said that the investigation was handled by university police and that question should be directed to them.

A message was left with the police department Tuesday night.

The investigation is now being turned over to the University as a possible violation of school policies.
