SU investigating possible hate crime

Salisbury University police are currently investigating a racist comment that reportedly was written on one the school’s white boards in Blackwell Library over the weekend.
Officials were not able to say what the racist comment said, but described it as an act of intolerance.
In a letter to students Monday, Salisbury President Doctor Janet Dudley-Eshbach said diversity is a core value of the university and reports of such acts are taken seriously, and that the university will not tolerate this kind of language or behavior.
Officials said university police are looking into this as a possible hate crime.
