Stephen Decatur students express concern over Trump’s presence

Although there were thousands of Donald Trump supporters in Berlin on Wednesday, but not everyone was thrilled to have him.

47 ABC met some students leaving Stephen Decatur High School at dismissal on Wednesday. They say all of the buzz that surrounded Trump’s arrival caused a major disturbance to their school day. They also believe it makes it appear as though their school is endorsing his campaign.

Montanna Lee says, “There were kids who couldn’t park. I understand that he’s a big deal, but they’re taking away our personal time for our studying. We had to be locked our classrooms. We weren’t allowed to walk around. It was ridiculous.”

Bruklyn Waters says, “We have an education to get. We have the right to get that. This is a public school. I don’t think that Donald Trump needs to be here.”
