Sea Gulls Shake Slow Start, Top Frostburg

The Salisbury University men’s lacrosse team didn’t get off to the best start, but picked up their play in the second half to top Frostburg State 14-6 in the CAC semifinals. The win advances the Sea Gulls to the title game, while improving their record to 18-0.

The Bobcats would come out of the gates and throw the first punch, taking a 4-2 lead into the second quarter. There, SU would finally start to find their footing, getting a goal from Thomas Cirillo, followed by a pair of goals from Carson Kalama as they would tie the game headed into halftime. From there, the Sea Gulls began to grab control of the match. Kalama would add 2 more of SU’s 3 goals in the 3rd quarter as they would build a 2 goal lead headed to the 4th. There, they would put the match away after outscoring the Bobcats 6-0. Salisbury returns to work next Saturday when they host the CAC Title game.
