Salisbury woman arrested after alleged stabbing

Members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say Sierra Branch, 22, was arrested and charged with assault and related charges following an incident with the father of her child.

Police say around 12:03 AM on Friday, officers were dispatched to Fentral Avenue in Salisbury. Branch had reportedly come to the residence where the man lived, and began an argument, demanding the man leave with her. The man tells police that Branch picked up a cement bird bath and threw it onto the hood of his vehicle, and then reportedly threw a brick in the windshield.

It was then, police say, Branch came at the man with a knife and stabbed him in the shoulder.

According to Sheriff’s Deputies, Branch left the property before deputies arrived.

A warrant was reportedly issued for her arrest and she was detained in lieu of $50,000.00 bond. Branch has been charged with first and second degree Assault, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Reckless Endangerment, according to authorities.
