Riders Roll Rival Dover

The Caesar Rodney girls soccer team hit the road Thursday night, and pulled out a 4-0 win over rival Dover. The win improves the Riders to 8-1, while the Senators drop to 5-5 on the year.
CR would be able to jump out to a quick lead after Aleya Cummings scores just 9 minutes into the match. The defense for the Senators would settle down though, as Caroline Cashion came up with a number of great saves. It looked like the Riders might only take a one goal lead into halftime, but Jessie Prillaman was able to find the back of the net for the road team just before the break. CR continued their strong play in the second half as Cummings was able bounce a corner kick off her back and into the back of the net, before finishing off her hat trick for the win.
Caesar Rodney returns to work on Monday when they host Indian River, while Dover travels to Sussex Academy on Tuesday.
