Rams Bring Their Bats To Mardela

The Parkside baseball team hit the road Monday afternoon and picked up a convincing 12-1 win over Mardela. The win improves the Rams to 10-5, while they loss drops the Warriors to 9-6.

Neither team would be able to get their offense going early on before the Rams were finally able to break though. After bringing a couple runs across, they would take a 5-0 lead after Andrew Smith would blast a 2 run shot to right. The Warriors would continue to battle and bring a run in themselves. But the Rams would have a quick answer. Collin Green would hit a 2 RBI single, followed by a RBI fielders choice from Matt Smith. Grant Burleson would then put the game away with a 2 RBI single to center.

The Rams return to work on Wednesday when they host Wi-Hi, while Mardela travels to Bennett on Wednesday.
