Rally at Baltimore City Hall for Freddie Gray anniversary

(AP) – Community groups are planning a rally at Baltimore City Hall to commemorate the death of Freddie Gray and the unrest that followed.

The Coalition for the Transformation and Betterment of Baltimore, a coalition of more than 75 organizations, will host the rally on Monday at 3 p.m. Also outside of city hall, the group Stand Up BMore is hosting a voter rally to encourage city residents to cast their ballots: primary day in Maryland is Tuesday.

Gray died April 19 of last year, a week after he suffered a critical spinal injury in the back of a police transport van.
