Police: Heroin seized during Dover traffic stop, one arrested

Police say during a traffic stop in Dover, they found more than 160 bags of heroin.
Dover Police say on Thursday around 4:10 PM, Officers with the Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit, along with members of the Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force/Drug Unit wrapped up a drug investigation, with an arrest.
During a traffic stop on North DuPont Highway, Officers say they searched a vehicle, and found 21.4 grams of raw heroin, 161 bags of heroin totaling 2.415 grams, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, .3 grams of marijuana, and $1,391 in suspected drug proceeds.
The driver, 23-year-old Pierre Forman, of Dover was arrested, and charged with tier 5 heroin possession, possession with intent to deliver heroin – tier 4 quantity, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of marijuana, driving while suspended, and drug paraphernalia.
He was then ordered to be held on a $106,501 cash bond, a the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center.
