Multiple vehicle crash closes off Route 50 westbound in Berlin

Members of the Maryland State Police Berlin barrack have confirmed multiple vehicles were involved in a crash along Route 50 in the area of Route 346 (Old Ocean City Road).

Troopers say they arrived to the scene not long before 9:35 P.M., when 47 ABC placed a call to the barrack.

Details are limited at this time. A 47 ABC crew on scene says a detour has been set up for drivers about a mile away from the scene of the crash.

As of about 10:45 P.M., MSP investigators were still on the scene.
