MSP net four in Berlin-area traffic stops

Members of the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack say they charged four people during a “Criminal Initiative” on Friday.
Police say during the enforcement, there were multiple traffic stops for speeding, seatbelt violations and distracted driving allegations, i.e. driving while using a cellphone.
Troopers say between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM, traffic stops resulted in two CDS Arrests for Possession of Heroin, one Civil Citation for Possession of Marijuana under 10 grams and one open warrant apprehension.
State Police say Kamrin Muscalli, 20, was charged on a Civil Citation for Marijuana Possession less than 10 grams and released.
Randy Carver, 58, and Joshua Poper, 31, were reportedly criminally charged with CDS Possession: Not Marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. According to State Police, both subjects were released by the Worcester County District Court Commissioner on their own personal recognizance.
Troopers say Thomas Cooper, 24, was served his warrant for Failure to Appear in Court and taken before the District Court Commissioner where he was reportedly held on $5,575 bond.
