Mardela softball overpowers North Dorchester

The Mardela Warriors softball team overcame a slow start and turned on the bats to top North Dorchester 15-3 on Friday afternoon.

Sydney Goertzen had the play of the day, when she blasted a hard line drive past the second baseman, that ended up going all the way to the wall. Goertzen would work her way all the way around the base path for a 2-run inside the park home-run.

Kalie Adkins got the win for the Warriors on the mound.
