Man wanted after fleeing from court in Salisbury

Members of the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office say Tyrell Adrian Joyce, 28, of Salisbury, is wanted through a bench warrant Tuesday night, after he apparently fled a courtroom during recess before a jury selection in his trial.
State’s Attorney Matt Maciarello says Joyce was in court for an incident that occurred back in September, in which Joyce was charged with inhibiting testimony of a witness, intimidation of a witness, and obstruction of justice. He was found guilty in absentia today, after fleeing.
According to prosecutors, Joyce twice went to the home of someone who was a State witness in a case against his friend, and threatened that person. That person, however, did apparently still show up to court, and identified Joyce in front of officers, as he showed up to support his friend on trial.
Maciarello says Joyce posted bail after that incident, and showed up to court Monday.
