Man charged after climbing on police vehicle

Members of the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say Kenneth Weber, 19, was arrested after he was posing on top of a Salisbury University Police vehicle.

Police say Weber was part of a large party on Iris Drive around 1:30 in the morning Saturday.

According to Sheriff’s Deputies, the crowd created a scene when Weber was on top of the vehicle, while police tried to clear the scene.

Police say Weber was eventually located by nearby apartments and arrested, and charged with Disorderly Conduct, as well as Resisting Arrest. Sheriff’s deputies report he was detained in lieu of $3,000.00 bond.
