Local bakery to be featured on “The Chew”

A local bakery is gaining national attention as they are going to be featured on ABC’s “The Chew” on Friday. The Brooklyn Baking Barons, was founded by Chris Poeschl and Tony Lanuza in Brooklyn, New York.
However the duo took Brooklyn to Berlin after having to upgrade their production following success in the empire state. Both Poeschl and Lanuza have local ties, and they took their sweet eats back to the Eastern Shore.
Now the owners, who call themselves “purveyors of uncommon delights”, ship off their baked goods all over the country from their Berlin headquarters. Poeschl spoke to 47ABC about what it means for them to be featured on national television and he says “we bring joy into people’s lives with butter and sugar – and it’s so amazing to be able to access a whole new audience across America that we otherwise may not have been able to access. And we’re very excited to be in somebody else’s home.”
The Brooklyn Baking Barons will be on The Chew on Friday at 1:00. They will host a viewing party at Urban Nectar in Berlin, and they tell 47ABC that all are welcome to come by and they say they will of course have some tasting samples. The duo has only recently came back to Delmarva, and they thank the community for the warm welcome.
